Dr. Lamont Hemminger serves as the Lead Pastor of Wesley Weyman Methodist Church, located in the Riegelwood community of North Carolina, just 20 minutes from Wilmington. Prior to returning to Riegelwood, Lamont pastored several churches across North Carolina for 26 years. He believes that prayer is essential to both church and personal renewal.
Lamont holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mount Olive, a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry from Carolina University. He enjoys spending time with his family, teaching, preaching, evangelism, and occasionally fishing.
Lamont is married to Alicia Holden Hemminger, the love of his life. Together, they have two daughters, Krista Hemminger and Madeline Updegraft, as well as a son-in-law, Tim.
